| Hello to all my xanga friends. Allison's worst fear came true this morning. I will tell you about it...me, Allison, Janny, Landon and Grayson braved the weather to go to Jefferson to the Mardi Gras parade. (Ashton went to the Mardi Gras parade in Bossier. She got lots of goodies too!!) We really wanted to get lots of beads. I warned Allison that I was serious when it came to getting beads. So...we were. Screaming, jumping, hands in the air, etc. (however, there was no skin showing involved). We soon recognized a photographer from the Longview News Journal kinda zooming in on us. We tried to hide behind other folks...but he wouldnt take that for an answer. Sooooo when we woke up on Sunday morning there we were on the front page of the East Texas section of the Longview News Journal. It looks as if I am praying, probably should have been!!! Allison is in the corner. Dont let that picture fool you, she did her share of hand raising, screaming and pushing to get more than her share of the beads. Later Becky and Lanna joined us. After all, we had to make sure all of our friends had plenty of beads. Allison is going to add the picture when she gets back to College Station. Derek and Amy, how did I do? Wished you were with us!!!!! |

| Well well well...an easy way to keep up with (or stalk) my children and their friends is xanga, so here I am. Sure I would love to see their precious faces in real life but since we are all scattered, this will help fill me in on their college experiences and secrets they don't tell me :)
Had a wonderful visit from Amy and Allison this past weekend. Alli shocked us all with a surprise visit. Amy brought home her new car. Would have liked some warmer weather for it but the top still came down. Ashton looked beautiful as always for her dance. Glad to hear she had a good time. It was good having all the girls and their friends home and wish Derek could have been home too.
New at this so welcome me with lots of comments! |
